Meet the newest faces of BizCom! With the agency’s rapid growth, we are pleased to announce an abundance of new hires. Avery Barzizza joins BizCom as a Media Relations Coordinator, Sarah Gill joins as Digital Account Manager and Alex Preusser along with Lauren Wetzel are our newest interns!
Meet Avery Barzizza
The Cincinnati Native attended University of Arkansas where she was awarded a degree in journalism with emphases in advertising and public relations. Avery joins BizCom as our newest Media Relations Coordinator where she will use her skills to generate high profile publicity for our awesome clients. In her free time, Avery loves doing all things creative but focuses primarily on running her calligraphy business on Etsy. She also enjoys spending time with her two dogs, Sullivan and Luigi!
Meet Sarah Gill
Sarah just finished her last semester at Baylor University where she majored in film and digital media and put her star quality on display as a member of the Baylor Lariat TV news team. Now, Sarah’s ready to hit the ground running as our newest Digital Account Manager! As an influencer herself, Sarah is excited to dive into BizCom’s work developing highly successful influencer campaigns as well as supporting our clients with their social media and thought leadership programs. The Arkansas native enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling and exploring her new hometown of Dallas.
Meet Alex Preusser
Alex started her internship with BizCom in March and she quickly established herself as a key member of the social media team! Born and raised in Illinois, Alex moved south to pursue her degree in sports journalism at Texas Christian University. Since joining us, Alex has worked on the digital side of the house, creating social and thought leadership content for a range of clients. If you’ve checked out our social accounts recently, you’ll be pleased to learn that Alex is the new social voice of BizCom! In her free time, Alex enjoys watching sports, doing crafts, practicing gymnastics and going on adventures.
Meet Lauren Wetzel
BizCom has yet another Baylor Bear on the team! Lauren is a recent graduate from Baylor University where she earned her degree in journalism with an emphasis in public relations. Lauren joins BizCom as our newest intern, assisting Vice President Melissa Rubin on the account service side of the house. In her free time Lauren enjoys reading, playing the piano and spending time with her friends. What you may not know about Lauren is that she's our very own in-house mixologist! In her time off, Lauren works as a bartender at one of the most famous restaurants in Central Texas. To that we say, Cheers! to Lauren and all the newest members of the BizCom team.
